BA (Hons) Primary and Early Years Education with QTS

Course Structure

This course provides a blend of theoretical learning through lectures, tutorials and workshops, combined with hands-on classroom experience. You will be placed in a different host school for each of the three years.

Your typical weekly schedule will include:

• 2 days in your host school for teaching and observation
• 1-2 days attending core training sessions
• 1-2 days dedicated to self-study and enrichment activities

Additionally, each year you will undertake a 6-8 week block placement at
your host school, during which your teaching practice will be assessed.
